Group members support each other to speak up.

Self-advocates practice speaking up and getting their rights.

How to find a Self-Advocacy Group

There are different places that support self advocacy groups.

In the UK there are charities and organisations that support self-advocacy.

The names of some of these are People First, Speaking Up!, POWHR, Speak for Ourselves, Skills For People and Change.

There are groups all around the country.
